The Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Plant Operations (Construction) – Loading Shove, Skid Steer Loader – is a nationally recognised proof of competence for persons required to operate Loading Shove, Skid Steer Loader on construction sites.

ASQ will carry out an initial assessment of candidate skills and knowledge to identify any gaps and help plan the assessment.
Each candidate is required to produce a portfolio of evidence which demonstrates their achievement of all of the learning outcomes and assessment criteria for each unit.

The Construction Plant Competence Scheme (CPCS) provides skills certifications/cards for the plant sector of the construction and allied industries.
Achieving this qualification is one of the major requirements for upgrading from a Trained Operator CPCS card to a Competent Operator CPCS card.
